DTF TRANSFER FILE REQUIREMENTS

Preferred File Format: PNG

She Hustles Creations LLC recommends uploading your artwork as a high-quality PNG file. PNG files support transparent backgrounds, preserve image quality, and are widely supported by most design programs.

PDF, AI, SVG, and other vector formats may also be accepted.

Before uploading, please make sure:

• Your artwork is 300 DPI or a true vector file.

• The background is completely transparent.

• Your artwork is sized and ready to print.

• All colors, spelling, and design details are correct.

• Your file is not mirrored.

She Hustles Creations LLC prints the exact file submitted. We do not edit artwork, remove backgrounds, correct colors, resize designs, or fix low-quality images.

Files submitted without a transparent background may result in the order being canceled and refunded.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR CHATGPT-GENERATED IMAGES

If you create your artwork using ChatGPT or another AI program, please check your colors carefully before submitting your file.

ChatGPT does not guarantee exact color matching. Colors may appear differently when printed than they appear on your phone, tablet, or computer screen. She Hustles Creations LLC has no control over the colors created within an AI-generated image and cannot guarantee a specific printed color.

We print the colors contained in the file you submit. Please review and correct your colors before placing your order.

Orders will not be refunded or reprinted because an AI-generated color did not print as expected.

HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR IMAGE

1. Select the transfer size and quantity.

2. Click Browse near the Add to Cart button.

3. Upload your print-ready artwork.

4. Review your file carefully before completing your purchase.

Do Not Mirror Your Image

Please upload your artwork in its normal orientation. Our printing software will mirror the image during production. Uploading an already-mirrored file may cause your finished transfer to print backward.

DTF TRANSFER STORAGE AND MOISTURE

DTF transfers may arrive with a small amount of powder or moisture due to shipping and storage conditions. This is normal and does not mean the transfers are defective.

Store transfers flat in a cool, dry place. If moisture is present, place the transfer beneath an open heat press with the printed side facing down for approximately 90 seconds. Do not press the transfer during this step.

You must have permission to reproduce any copyrighted, trademarked, or licensed artwork submitted to She Hustles Creations LLC.

If your design includes copyrighted or licensed content, you may be required to provide proof of ownership, a commercial-use license, or written authorization from the intellectual-property owner. Documentation will be kept with your customer account.

Purchasing a design from Etsy or another marketplace does not automatically give you permission to reproduce or sell products featuring that design. Please review the seller's commercial-use license and production limits before ordering.

This policy protects the intellectual property of artists, businesses, customers, and She Hustles Creations LLC.

DTF TRANSFER POLICY

All DTF transfer purchases are final sale and nonrefundable.

Refunds or replacements will not be issued for:

• Low-resolution or blurry artwork

• Incorrect sizing

• Spelling errors

• Unwanted backgrounds

• Incorrect or unexpected colors

• Color differences in ChatGPT or AI-generated images

• Artwork uploaded backward or mirrored

• Customer application or pressing errors

• Other problems contained in the submitted file

Defective transfers may be replaced if the defect was present when the order arrived. Photos of the unused transfer and packaging must be provided for review before a replacement is approved.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed your artwork and agree to these file requirements and policies.

APPLICATION & CARE FAQ

What fabrics work best with DTF transfers?

DTF transfers adhere to most fabrics, including cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, denim, leather, and nylon. They are not recommended for coarse or heavily textured fabrics such as canvas-weight burlap or rough terry cloth, as uneven surfaces may prevent full adhesion.

What temperature, time, and pressure settings should I use?

These settings are starting points. Results vary depending on your specific heat press model, platen size, and fabric type. Always do a test press on a scrap piece of fabric before pressing a finished garment.

Do I need to press again after peeling (curing)?

Many DTF transfers benefit from a short cover-press after peeling to fully bond the ink to the fabric and improve wash durability. If recommended for these transfers, place a silicone sheet or parchment paper over the design and press for [e.g., 5–10 seconds] at the same temperature before wearing or washing.

How long will the transfer last? Will it peel or crack?

When applied correctly with the right temperature, time, and pressure, DTF transfers are designed to be durable and wash-resistant. Peeling, cracking, or fading is most commonly caused by:

• Incorrect press temperature (too low or too high)
• Insufficient press time or pressure
• Washing in hot water or using a high-heat dryer
• Applying the transfer to an unsuitable fabric

What causes discoloration after pressing?

Discoloration can result from pressing at too high a temperature, pressing for too long, or pressing dark or synthetic fabrics that scorch under heat. Using a protective cover sheet (silicone or parchment) between the platen and the fabric helps protect both the transfer and the garment. Always test on a scrap piece first.

How should I wash garments after applying a DTF transfer?

• Turn the garment inside out before washing.
• Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
• Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softener.
• Tumble dry on low heat, or hang to dry for best results.
• Do not iron directly on the transfer.

Can I apply DTF transfers with a Cricut EasyPress or household iron?

A commercial or professional heat press is strongly recommended for consistent, even pressure and accurate temperature control. Consumer tools such as a Cricut EasyPress or household iron may not provide the uniform pressure needed for full adhesion, which can lead to peeling. If you choose to use a consumer pressing tool, test carefully and understand that results may vary.
